Gambling should be entertaining — not a source of financial stress, anxiety or family conflict. we33 is committed to providing Pakistani players with honest information, practical tools and real support to keep gambling in its proper place: a form of entertainment, played within limits you control.
Responsible gambling is not simply a legal requirement that we acknowledge and move on from. At we33, it is a core part of how we operate. We believe that every Pakistani player who uses this platform deserves accurate information, accessible protective tools and genuine support — whether they are placing their first ever wager on a PSL T20 match or have been using sports betting platforms for years.
Gambling products are inherently designed to favour the operator over time. That is a statistical fact, and we will never pretend otherwise. Winning streaks happen, but sustained profit from gambling is not a reliable or realistic outcome for most players. If you are gambling with the expectation of earning income, or gambling with money you cannot afford to lose, those are signals that warrant serious attention.
Pakistan's Prevention of Gambling Act 1977 and applicable provincial legislation govern gambling in the country. we33 does not claim to be licensed or regulated by any Pakistani authority, and we do not offer legal advice. Users must understand their own local legal position independently. What we do offer is complete transparency about how gambling works, what our responsible gambling tools do, and what you should do if gambling stops being enjoyable.
Responsible Play — Quick Reference
All of the following tools are available to we33 account holders. You do not need to be in crisis to use them — setting limits before you start playing is the best time to use them.
Set a maximum deposit amount on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. Once the limit is reached, no further deposits are accepted in that period. Reductions take effect immediately; increases require a mandatory cooling-off period before activation.
Set a cap on your net losses over a defined period — daily, weekly or monthly. When your losses reach the limit you have chosen, the system will prevent further wagers for the remainder of that period. A powerful tool for keeping gambling genuinely affordable.
Set a maximum session duration. Reality-check notifications appear at intervals you choose — for example every 30 or 60 minutes — reminding you how long you have been playing and what your net position is during that session.
Take a short break from gambling — 24 hours, 48 hours, one week, or up to four weeks — without permanently closing your account. During a cooling-off period, you cannot log in, deposit or wager. The period is not reversible on request.
Request a minimum six-month exclusion from the Platform, with options extending to one year, five years or permanent exclusion. Once activated, self-exclusion is not reversible during the active period. Your account is closed and re-registration is blocked.
If you contact our support team with concerns about your gambling behaviour, we will provide information about relevant responsible gambling resources and, where appropriate, immediately apply the protections you request — including urgent self-exclusion.
These are illustrative examples only. Actual limits are set entirely by you within the account settings area. PKR figures are shown for contextual reference.
Self-exclusion is one of the most powerful tools available to anyone who feels that their gambling is becoming problematic. It is not a sign of weakness — it is a deliberate, responsible decision that puts you back in control of your situation.
When you request self-exclusion on we33, your account is immediately restricted and all marketing communications are stopped. You will not be able to log in, deposit funds or place wagers for the full duration of your chosen exclusion period.
Important: Self-exclusion through we33 applies to the we33 platform only. If you use multiple gambling platforms, you should request exclusion from each one independently. We also strongly recommend speaking with a qualified support professional during the exclusion period to address any underlying concerns.
A minimum six-month break from the Platform. Suitable for players who want a meaningful pause to reassess their gambling habits.
Minimum PeriodA twelve-month exclusion period. Provides a longer, more structured break, giving you substantial time to build new routines and seek support if needed.
ExtendedA five-year exclusion for players dealing with serious problem gambling concerns. We recommend combining this with professional support resources.
Long-TermPermanent, irreversible account closure. Your data is retained as required by law, but all gambling access is permanently removed. No reversal is possible.
PermanentTo activate self-exclusion, log in to your account, go to Responsible Gambling settings, or contact our support team via live chat. We process all self-exclusion requests as a priority — typically within a few minutes during business hours.
Problem gambling can develop gradually. These are some of the most commonly reported warning signs — in yourself or someone close to you. Recognising even a few of these patterns is a reason to take action now.
Continuing to gamble after losing in order to win back money, often with increasingly larger bets.
Using funds set aside for rent, bills, food or family expenses — including using Easypaisa, JazzCash or bank accounts normally reserved for essential spending.
Taking loans, using credit, borrowing from family or friends in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad or elsewhere to fund gambling activity.
Lying to family members about how much time or money is spent gambling, or deleting transaction history to avoid scrutiny.
Multiple attempts to reduce or stop gambling that have not succeeded, or a persistent sense that gambling is out of personal control.
Using gambling to avoid thinking about personal problems, stress, anxiety, relationship difficulties or financial worries.
Missing work, studies or family commitments due to gambling, or spending time at work thinking about or planning gambling sessions.
Feeling irritable, depressed or anxious when not gambling, or extreme mood swings tied to winning and losing outcomes.
Needing to gamble with larger and larger amounts over time to experience the same level of excitement — a sign of tolerance development.
These questions are used by responsible gambling professionals to help people reflect on their relationship with gambling. They are not a clinical diagnosis tool, but if you answer yes to three or more, we strongly encourage you to speak with a support professional.
Have you ever had to lie to family members or friends about how much you gamble, or how much money you have lost gambling?
Have you ever gambled to escape feelings of worry, boredom, loneliness or depression?
Have you ever chased losses — that is, gambled again shortly after losing in order to try to win the money back?
Have you ever borrowed money, sold personal belongings, or used funds set aside for household expenses in order to fund gambling?
Have you ever felt that you needed to gamble with increasing amounts of money to get the same level of excitement?
Have you made repeated unsuccessful attempts to cut down, control or stop gambling?
If you or someone you care about is experiencing gambling-related harm, please seek professional support. The following resources are general guidance; we encourage you to contact qualified mental health or gambling support professionals in your area.
Whether you are watching a PSL match at home in Lahore or following a UFC card late at night in Karachi — these principles apply every time you engage with any gambling product.
Before any session, decide the maximum amount you are comfortable losing completely. If losing that amount would affect your ability to cover rent, food, school fees or utility bills, the amount is too high. Reduce it.
Decide how long you will gamble before you start — and stop when the time is up, regardless of whether you are winning or losing. Use we33's session timer notifications to hold yourself to this commitment.
When you are down, the instinct to keep playing to recover is powerful — and dangerous. Chasing losses leads to larger losses in the vast majority of cases. If you have hit your loss limit, close the session. Full stop.
Stress, anxiety, a difficult week at work, financial worry, or arguments at home are not good conditions for gambling. Emotional states impair decision-making and increase the likelihood of impulsive, oversized bets.
Build regular non-gambling days into your week. Periods away from gambling — even a few days — help you maintain perspective, prevent habituation and ensure gambling stays a leisure activity rather than a compulsion.
Gambling in isolation increases risk. Tell someone you trust — a family member, friend or colleague — that you gamble and roughly how much. Accountability to another person is one of the most effective natural safeguards.
